The VS Workshop

 

 

Hello Again,

Last Friday evening i rolled out a workshop for Willow Stores, the evenings training focused around visual merchandising and how we could.

  1. Define the customer profile of each area.
  2. Give a fresh new layout to the store and entice customers.
  3. Train the team in basic Visual Merchandising.
  4. Focus on group activities to encourage team work.

Jean McCabe Owner and powerhouse business women is investing in up-skilling her staff.

The workshop was fantastic, the team thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the new layout is working really well with customers, We look forward to the next one “

How does it work?

The team of 12 arrived at 7pm!

7pm – 7.45pm we ran over the basic rules of Visual Merchandising and i got to know the amazing team Jean has.

From 7.45 to 10pm ….. we go to WORK!! (Sleeves rolled up) Only way yo learn is by doing, We broke up into teams of 3 and each team was give a task to revamp a certain area.

We changed up furniture layouts, stock layouts & styling techniques!

Opening the front of the store, helps customers feel more at ease. Making sure your sightline are clear is really important for flow, dwell time and overall interaction with products.

Here we made a wall to suit a certain style of customer by pulling all the key trend pieces into 2 walls we created a area for younger customer – always remembering to accessorise everything!
