EuroShop, Latest innovations and what we learned.

Hello Hello!

So as you may have seen from our Instagram I travelled to Euro shop last week,  (don’t follow us? –  well sort that out) VisualSenseInstagramIsTheBest

My two days at the show where full on, it took one day to get around lighting and design alone and with not a decent coffee to be had in the place, it was tough going!!!!

Luckily for me Dusseldorf offers some very nice speciality coffee shops so i didn’t totally come down off my constant coffee high.

Overall the show was pretty impressive, you got transported to a different world where no one is thinking about the day to day and only about the future, so I embraced every square inch of it and soaked up all the inspiring talks.

I thought it would be a good idea to give 3 areas that stood out the most,

No 1

Engagement!

The most obvious trend was customer engagement, from the show itself and how much time and money went into getting people to interact with the stands. then once you did they all where talking customer engagement, how retailers need to ensure this will be part of their floor plans for the future.

Whether it was the music, the food offering, the interactive toys for people to use to entice them to their stand its all the practices we see coming through in retail.

This submarine looking display had screens that you touched to see work by the brand.

These Guys branding was orange, so they had cleverly added this little orange juice station and were handing out juices with their logo on it.

No 2

Consistency!

The stands that stood out the most and the ones that were the busiest, were the ones who had a clear consistent visual message, again proving that no matter what you do if your selling product or services having this consistency is key to attracting customers.

The Pixlip GO stand was busy all the time, They had a some girls walking around the show dressed in matching jumpsuits giving out promo bags — They had a clear message and people new if it was for them or not.

Informative!

The amount of information to read was my favourite part, the stands that had tips and hints about why their service was better than the one beside it.

Showing this in retail is also so important, the product is only as good as the pitch behind it and people need to understand the why. Increasing sales is no 1 but also increasing the transactions per customer, the more we inspire, tell them why the more people will buy ours rather than the one next door.

There some more visuals below, I hope you guys find the blogs interesting to read, we would LOVE to hear from you if you have any topics that you would like us to write about.

We are planning to make some video blogs this year – let me know if you like the sound of this!! Send us a email or a insta message.

Stay Inspired.
